Reflection

''All of my FIU global learning experiences have shaped me into becoming a true global citizen. By cultivating my perspective through a series of internships and courses I have been able to improve my global awareness, research and analytical skills and ability to engage on a multifaceted level. Throughout my time as a global learning student I have had the privilege to push myself to step outside my comfort zone and dare to think critically on what are global threats are and what it's solutions entail. In doing so, I have kicked started two organizations, surpassed my exceptions and participated in two fully funded D.C. internships and have made life long connections through shared experiences. I plan on continuing FIU World's Ahead model and all my lessons learned as a global citizen to my next challenge as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to reach my highest potential and too FIU for inspiring me to aim higher.''
